I am rather late to the game over on Mission Inspiration. The daily quarantine quickie prompts have been going for over a week already. I am catching up at the rate of two a day and decided to create a new tag journal with the pages. Here are my first two.
Add the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheet to a #8 manilla tag. Seal, dry and trim using a large file.
Lay the Rooftops mask from Claritystamp over the top and use a spot on sponge to add Black soot Distress Oxide and Jet Black Archival ink to the bottom of the tag.
Remove the mask.
Use the ink remaining on the spot on sponge to add smoke from three of the chimneys. Add further definition in Jet Black archival ink using a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
To finish, add the prompt in Jet Black archival ink using letters from a discontinued Clarity alphabet and the ampersand from the Numbers and mask stamp set. Go round the edges of the tag in the same ink.
I started the second tag in the same way as the first, using one of my stash of paper towel mop up sheets. For the books, I added one of the Darkroom Door Bookworm stamps in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear powder. On a separate sheet, stamp the Clarity New Design Club candle (#107) in Watering Can Archival ink, seal the image with matte medium and dry thoroughly. Colour the image with Faber-Castell big brush markers blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs. Fussy cut the candle and add the it to the tag in front of the books. Add the bells from the Wee Folk wedding stamps (#6) in the same manner as the books. To finish, add the prompt in Jet Black Archival ink using the same Clarity alphabet as used with the first tag. I really ought to finish my mini mission tag book from 2018 as well. I have completed pages A-W after all!
