Quarantine Quickie #15 & #16: Blue Moon / Bad Hair Day

Continuing with the pages of my quarantine quickie tag journal, inspired by the daily prompts over on Mission Inspiration.  I have caught up, so I am only working on them every other day and sharing two at a time.  Here are my interpretations of #15 and #16.  I have been using my stash of mop up papers and stamps and stencils from Claritystamp.

For the first tag, I started with a piece of copy paper that had been used to clean up my blending mat.  It was added to a #8 manilla tag, sealed, dried and trimmed.
Stamp the wolf from the Dee's Friends Brave A5 stamp set in Hickory Smoke Archival ink.
Mask off the wolf and add the teeny weenie forest stamp three times across the horizon in Black Soot archival ink.

With the mask still in place, add two of the Wee Grasses stamps along the bottom multiple times in both Hickory Smoke and Black Soot archival inks.  Remove the mask.

Colour the wolf using Faber-Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs.

Add the moon from the Trees and Moon stamp set in Cobalt Blue archival ink.

To finish, hand write the prompt using a black micron pen.

For the next tag, I used a piece of deli paper that I had used to clean paint off foam blending tools.  It was added to a #8 manilla tag, sealed with matte medium, dried and trimmed.
This time I wanted to use a different character from the Dee's Friends collection.  I stamped Joy (A5) onto Clarity stencil card in Antique Linen Distress Oxide.
She was coloured using watercolour pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen.
Further colour was added to the hair but this time not blended out.
She was fussy cut and added to the tag.  I then sealed the hair with matte medium and dried the tag thoroughly.
To emphasize the grey roots of the hair, I used a black Pitt Artist pen to go over the rest of the hair.
To finish, I once again added the prompt using a black micron pen, as well as going over the dress to deepen the colour.
Luckily, I don't dye my hair, so I don't have the same problem in the current situation.  My hair is grey all over lol.
