A Layered Tag with Home Made Washi Tape

There are always four prompts for the monthly challenge over on Tag It Tuesday. April’s are: Use Washi tape, use an old greeting card, tint any medium and use through a stencil and use gears. As you will see, I only used two of the prompts, the minimum number.
Use the Clockwork aperture die to die cut a partial aperture from a #8 manilla tag.
Make you own Washi tape by inking / stamping onto strips of masking tape stuck to a glass mat. Blend Tea Dye and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxides over the masking tape with a foam tool.
Add stamping in Coffee, Sepia, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso archival inks using stamps from the Mixed Media Journal set from Claritystamp.
Add the home made Washi tape to a second #8 manilla tag. Trim the excess.
Colour the die cut tag with black gesso and dry thoroughly.
Add stamping over the gesso, using some of the same Mixed Media Journal stamps as before, in Cosmic Copper and Galaxy Gold Brilliance inks.
Glue the two tags together.
Add one of the Tim Holtz Paper Dolls to the tag.
Tint her dress with the Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge Distress Markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
To finish, add some of Barbara’s word stickers.
I have got used to working on two tags at a time, except this time they are layered, rather than being created separately for my journal.
