This is the page that I created for week 19 of Journal52 led by Effy Wild; you can find a list of the prompts HERE. This week's prompt was 'see' and I found a lovely quote, which led to a really quick page.
To create the background, I simply spritzed some Mermaid Lagoon and Pine Needles Distress sprays directly onto my page, misted over the whole thing with water then dabbed over with a kitchen towel and dried everything with a heat gun.
I used the dandelion clock stamps from the Butterfly Kisses stamp set (designed by Marion Emberson for Personal Impressions PICSA6181), stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer detail white embossing powder. I also went over the stamped areas with some Pine Needles distress ink, then burnished the embossing with a paper towel to emphasize the images.
The quote was then added using the Claritystamp Word Chain Alphabet, stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed using Stampendous detail black embossing powder.
