When I saw these quote stamps by Dyan Reaveley on Amazon, I couldn't decide which sheet that I liked best - so I got all four! Of course, once they arrived, I had to use them on a card straight away. I hadn't used my Brusho powders for a while, so I decided to create the background with them, but try a new technique (for me anyway).

Crazy Cats
I had to make two birthday cards recently for crafting friends, so I decided to use the card coloured with the left overs from my tag adventure and the Crazy Cats by Tim Holtz. I wanted the cards to be similar, but not exactly the same; therefore I used two different cats, even though the accompanying stamps and accessories were the same. I was really pleased with the finished cards, especially after I finished off the cats' eyes with Glossy Accents.

Wildflower Tag
This card came together remarkably quickly once I'd decided on the initial concept. The tags were already coloured (to find out how see HERE) and the new Wild flower Thinlits dies designed by Tim Holtz were calling out to me. As the tags were such a bright colour, I decided to go with black silhouettes as a contrast.

Playing with Colour
I don't know where I will be going from here yet, but I'm enjoying the process.

WOYWW 353
As I'm stuck at home with a stomach bug, I thought I'd share with everyone at WOYWW
my new Tim Holtz spinner from Oyster Stamps.
It holds a tremendous amount. I have all my Nuvo drops and my pigment IZinks stored in handy reach and there are still two segments left for bits and bobs that I have recently used. The flowers in the background were a Mother's Day gift from my boys!
