I have a lovely new addition to my craft shed. It sits right next to my craft space and holds my paints and mediums. I no longer have to cross over to the other side of the shed to find everything when I want to get painty.
This is my second journal page for the Friendship prompt (March 2018) over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More. I am two weeks behind, although I hope to complete a third page later ready for sharing tomorrow.
This page was created for the weekly challenge on Junk Journal Junkies and Mindful Art. This week's prompt was Space and the colours allowed are Blue/Green, Purple and Orange. I'm sure no one will be able to guess my favourite sci-fi show lol.
This page is for Challenge 22 for Junk Journals Junkies and Mindful Art. As soon as I saw the theme was reflection, I had an idea for the first layer of the background!
I've had a lovely relaxing day, crafting in the company of a good friend, working on the November mission for Mission Inspiration. I didn't have a clue where I was going when I started, but once again, everything came together and I love the finished page. The only pieces which I had to die cut/punch out were the book text leaves and the heart behind the doves; everything else came out of my stash. The quote is one I found online having completed step 7 and which helped me decide on my focal image.
I must admit that I put off this challenge for a while, as I couldn't picture what I was going to do with the steps as listed in this month's challenge. I also had to find some wrapping paper, as I don't have any printed tissue paper. I had already looked out some waffle paper and had it sitting on my desk. However, once I made the effort to fetch some wrapping paper from the house and discovered the printed words and phrase in the Sunday Supplement, the ideas just seemed to flow. I suppose that the moral is to just get started! I'm actually rather pleased with the finished page and will be sharing it with #PASC916.
