Belated August Calendar Page

 I was so late creating my August inky calendar page that I didn't make it until after I returned from the retreats.  I used one of the projects that I had created at the retreat instead of cutting it up to create a card.

I started with one of the Vivid Painterly backgrounds (prints from the previous year's retreat) with one of the Elegant Ladies stamps.

To that I added one of the quotes from set 8 in Bluebird Archival ink.

I then added a drop shadow to match the lady using Faber-Castell Polychromos (Cool Grey II and Payne's Grey).

I then edged the topper with Perga colour #28 and then added it to a piece of Indian Summer companion paper, trimmed to a narrow border.

I matted it for a second time onto Antarctica Companion paper and trimmed it once again.

It only remained to add the topper to the August page of my 2026 Clarity calendar blank.
