Winter Cottages

I kept things simple with the last Clarity New Design Stencil Club offering of 2025, although I loved both projects that accompanied it.  As the larger infill elements came with it, I was able to use them to mask and add different colours through the apertures.

Add stencil #139 to a piece of Clarity stencil card with low tack tape. Add the snow and roof infill elements and mask round the tree.

Brush Peeled Paint and Rustic Wilderness Distress Archival ink through the tree apertures.

Move the masking and blend Fossilized Amber Distress Archival ink through the windows.

Move the masking again and add Sky Blue Archival ink over the ground and Shadow Grey Archival ink through the roofs.

Go over the windows with an embossing pen and emboss with clear embossing powder.

Add Perga glitter (hint of green) to the ground, tree and roofs using a mapping pen and sticky ink.

Brush Chipped Sapphire Distress ink across the top of the topper and Sky Blue Archival ink across the bottom.

Add the melting snowman from the Bijou set of Jayne's Winter Scenes Children in Sky Blue Archival ink.

Colour the snowman using a mix of Sharpie pens and glitter pens.

Trim the topper to 6.6" x 6.6" and add a sentiment from the I Am Essential Christmas Sentiment stamps in Cobalt Archival ink.

To finish, edge the topper with the same colour Sharpie pen as the scarf, hat and mitten and add it to the front of a 7" x 7" white card blank.
