Frohe Weihnachten

I was asked to do a Make and Take for the local Anglo German Club and this is what I came up with.  As Clarity don't do German sentiments, I used an old stamp that I had.

Die cut a small piece of Clarity stencil card using the 2" nested square doodle film strip frame-its frames and panels die and a mat from Rainbow River companion paper using the 2.25" nested square picot die.

Add one of the Jayne Nestorenko Christmas Sampler stamps in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add the German sentiment to a second piece of the companion paper in the same ink and trim to 1.5cm wide.  Cut a second strip the same width.

Colour the image with Perga Liners (I used B2, B4, B11 and B16).

Mat up the image and add it to the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank.

Add the blank strip of companion paper down the card and trim the ends.

To finish, add the sentiment strip across the card so it looks like ribbon on a present and trim to fit.

As we only had 30 minutes to make the card, I did the die cutting, stamped the sentiment and cut the strips in advance.  This left stamping onto the topper, colouring and adding everything to the card to do.  Those that finished quickly could decorate the envelope with a stamped image.
