Robin Christmas Tree

 I have a lovely blue Christmas jumper which has a tree on the front created from embroidered robins, holly and snowflakes.  I decided to see if I could create a similar card and this is the result.

Add a small robin (from a discontinued Clarity set) to a 5" x 5" white card blank in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add the three small robin stamps from Linda's Winter Wishes set likewise.

Finish the tree shape in the same ink repeating two of the robins.

Add holly sprigs in between in Library Green Archival ink, using a worker stamp from NDC #218.

Colour the images using Polychromos (#223, #225, #219, #165, # 267, #283, #182).

Mask the sides of the tree using low tack tape and paint with the #151 Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencil picked up off a mix mat with a watercolour brush pen.  Go over with the same colour Polychromo.

Go over the robins with a clear embossing pen and heat emboss with holographic EP.

Go over the holly with Sakura starlight pens.

Add a small snowflake (again from a discontinued set) in Versamark ink and heat emboss with gold EP.

To finish, add one of the gold Pergamano rub-on transfers from the Christmas Sentiments.
