WOYWW 856/76: Still Sample Making

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

As you can see, I have progressed with the jigsaw but have now hit a roadblock.  I can only work on the remaining sections in good daylight.  So challenging, that I have divided the remaining pieces up by shape and am often resorting to trying them one by one until I find the one that fits.  There is nothing I can show you on my craft desk.  I have been working on more samples over the weekend and am now getting on with my ATC and PTC (parchment trading card) ready to swap at the beginning of November.

I am off to the theatre this evening for the 30th anniversary River Dance Tour.  I booked it over a year ago thinking it was for last October lol.  Yesterday afternoon was our regular recorder get together in Lichfield.  Friday is my weekly get together with Mum.  We are going to go to 'Spoons for a late breakfast.

Sending gentle hugs and healing wishes to Neet.

Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

I guess you are in the "sky" section of the puzzle then, totally understand the procedure. Super daily art, still pondering the Creepy Carnival got MAGA but not ICE?? The poem reminds me of a Heiniken advert from way back, I walked about a bit on my own...etc until he drank.... Oh your American references are beyond me the crown, king perchance? Super Star Trek going boldly. Enjoy the theatre..."at last"... Hugs BJ#1

I love those tricky last sections when doing a jigsaw :D and yes, I've been particular enough to sort pieces into similar shapes so I can try them one by one. Good luck :D Loving this week's set of drawings especially the creepy tent and make believe occupation. I'm delighted that you have not been put off from making art with opinions. If anything, you are doubling down and I'm here for it :D :D :D Enjoy your outings xx

I can't logicalise and sort puzzle shapes like you do, but I certainly have tried every remaining piece in the gap in an effort to get over the difficult bit..the daylight thing I totally understand! I hope you enjoy Riverdance!

Wow! Riverdance! I loved it when we went I don’t know how many years ago. Love your Harry Potter jigsaw, I may take a photograph when you are finished. Great drawings, Star Trek my favourite. Not sure what ICE means in the creepy carnival. Happy WOYWW. Angela #10

I love your daily paintings, especially the ICE creepy carnival. Their actions are so nasty I wouldn’t even think of going to the USA now. I wonder what sort of samples you’re making? I hope you enjoy River Dance.
Happy WOYWW, hugs, Lynnecrafts 7 xx
