Rainbow Happy New Year

I couldn't resist using my favourite rainbow colours to create this festive panel card.

Draw a pencil line 2” from the bottom of a 7” x 7” white card blank. Add the top from Linda Williams’ Christmas Compendium set 4 Happy New Year stamp set either end above the line in Festive Berries and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides.

Add the bow into the centre in Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide.

Add the top either side of the bow in Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides.

Fill in the gaps with the bow in Carved Pumpkin and Chipped sapphire Distress Oxides. Erase the pencil line.

Colour the tops and bows using the corresponding distress inks picked up off a glass mat with a watercolour brush pen.

Die cut two panels using the heart Doodle Frame-Its Edger die leaving a narrow border.

Add the panels above and below the stamping and trim the ends.

To finish, add the heart Patterned Panel from the Occasions Sentiments set in Black Soot Distress archival ink and the Happy New Year sentiment from the first stamp set in the same ink.
