WOYWW 789/9: Last Week of Term

Welcome to WOYWW, a weekly sharing of desks, hosted for 15 years by Julia.  She has entrusted me with carrying on for which I am grateful.

As you can see by the date and time on my new smart watch, I prepared this post yesterday.  Once again I had just finished marking the last assessements of the year and didn't think they would be of much interest to you.  I downloaded a picture of my Dad as wallpaper to the phone.  This time last year he had gone into hospital and we were in the middle of an Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) at school.  This week has been a lot more relaxed although I have to come up with four hours of activities for KS3 students not going to Alton Towers on Friday.
It is celebration afternoon in school this afternoon, with the leavers' assembly for Y8 and form time for all.  We have a small celebration after school too, to say goodbye to a colleague who is leaving us.  Stay safe and happy WOYWW.  Thanks for joining in...

That's a fab watch. Love it.
I remember those last days of term, so bitty, nobody wants to work and there is so much to do. Enjoy the day and put your feet up when you get home.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx

Hi Sarah, nice watch. I can't remember the last time I wore one. I live in a house full of clocks. Alan was obsessed with timepieces. Good luck finding something to entertain those children on Friday. If my great-grandchildren are anything to go by, if it doesn't involve today's technology they're not interested. In the meantime, enjoy today's celebrations. Have a good week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #3

That’s a lovely picture of your dad, I didn’t know you could do that to a smart watch. Hope all the school activities/ceremonies go well!

Oh my just woke up and saw your comment email and jumped out of bed to link up and couldn't believe I was so late to the party! Nice to see a smart watch up close as I am not familiar with them at all. Took me years to go even smart phone! Super super collages, the citrus one grabbed my attention and the little bird is so cute, all quite delightful. Enjoy the end of your school year celebrations. Hugs BJ#13

Lovely watch and strap Sarah. Love the collages this week. Were the birds from Temu? I did look there for the lanterns, it’s such a rabbit warren of a site I get lost there 🤣. We are at a site in Bednall. Do you know the area? My husband is loving the walking on Cannock Chase. It is such a huge area - from what I have seen on the map because I haven’t been there. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

Isn't technology great that we can carry memories of our loved ones on our watches & phones!? The sentiment on your collage about two hearts being old friends is so wonderful isn't it? Have a splendid week, Lisa-Jane #11

Oh to be 15 again...#15 here that is... I'd tell my younger self soooo much 'not to dos' as well as, 'to do's... Lovely watch...I don't wear one, the old windup ones go backwards on me...I was bought a battery one many moons ago, and that did the same.... no I don't remember being beamed up by an alien! Hope you find something really exciting to entertain those children that aren't going to the adventure park...(I would've been one of those kids) Happy WOYWW!?((Lyn))#15

Hi Sarah.
Sorry I'm coming in late. Lost internet while I was writing my post this morning. Silly rain. Now the sun is out and matches the pretty tones of you cards this week. How long will you be on break before everything starts again?
Creative Blessings & Hugs!
