New Baby Card

A card I made for a colleague for all staff to sign.  I love the new Alphabet dies from Clarity Crafts - they make personalising a card so easy.

Die cut the letters to spell Arlo Ezra from Antarctica Designer Petite card using the small Woodblock Print Alphabet dies.

Die cut ‘welcome’ in the same way.

Trim 0.25” off all four sides of a piece of Antarctica designer paper and add it to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.

Add Clarity NDC #141 to the centre of a piece of Clarity stencil card in Seafarer Archival ink.

Create a mask for the bear using Clarity mask blanks and mask it up.

Add the Sunshine stencil over the top and blend Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress inks through the apertures using a Clarity stencil brush. Work out from the centre in Tumbled Glass, then inwards using Broken China. Remove the stencil and masking.

Add the lettering around the outside of the stencilled image.

Colour the teddy using Polychromos (#154, #153).

To finish, add the topper to the front of the card.
