WOYWW769: Wellbeing Day

Welcome to the latest desk sharing with Julia at Stamping Ground and the weekly blog get together which is WOYWW.

Last Saturday I had a full day playing the recorder on a course entitled Unbarred as none of the music had bar lines.  It involved lots of counting but was great fun and there was a great deal of cake too.  My desk shows some music I bought with the hopes of getting a staff group together for the school talent show just before Easter - watch this space.
I can't believe that March begins on Friday and therefore a change of colour scheme for my #dailycollage2024.
I am not at school today as I have taken my wellbeing day  - a new thing this year. We had theatre tickets for the Simon and Garfunkel Story at the Regent Theatre last night and I didn't want to have to get up too early this morning so booked the day off before Christmas.  Unfortunately Hubby didn't make it as he is feeling under the weather and his back is particularly painful at the moment.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Sorry to hear your hubby is not well, hope he is better soon.
Sounds like Saturday was very interesting . . hope you can form a group . . . teachers can be so inspirational.
While sorting out Peter's instrument collection ready to go to the Birmingham Conservatoire, I found a couple of recorders but they were both descant. My own recorder is a tenor and ONE DAY I will find it! lol
have fun with your new music

I hope your husband’s back feels better soon. I’ve loved your collages and hope you enjoyed both your music and your show. I’m resisting Simon and Garfunkel songs from my youth becoming ear worms now!
Take care and happy WOYWW

Great collages, those white strips are affective. Are they the sides of lined paper? I hope your husband’s back improves quickly. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11

Enjoy the new March color, I've enjoyed this series a lot. Hope all goes well with Hubby, We had a big weather change here overnight temps in 20's and high winds, tiny bit of snow dusting ground. What a spring like 4 months here. I didn't have internet as they were updating and no changes at the desk. Cleaning out totes all this past week....a big mess. Best wishes to you both

Sending healing blessings hubby's way. I never 'got' the recorder thing. I know recorder is one thing they taught in music when my daughter was in grade school. I still have the recorder we were required to purchase.
No hint at your new color? Hmmmm Looking forward to the new layouts. Creative Blessings! ~ Kelly #17

Oh unbarred music sounds interesting, especially as I still haven't mastered reading music!!! Hope you manage to sort something for the talent show. Super collages and can't wait to see the new colour scheme - yellows perchance? We only have 11 basic colours in English btw. Hope hubby is feeling better soon, and sorry he didn't make it to the show. Hugs BJ#10

Your recorder group sounds like fun! Too bad about hubby, hope he feels better soon. As always, I like your pages, but my favourite today is the one with the mushrooms! Thanks for your visit, have a great week, Lindart #19
