Our niece turned 40 over the summer and there was a surprise party for her and a friend who was also celebrating. This is the card I made for her.Add the square mask from the simple shapes collection to the centre of a piece of Clarity stencil card. Add the Wildflowers Rectangle Aperture frame stencil at the top and blend Sap Green, French Ultramarine and Pink Peony Archival ink through the top and sides.Move the stencil down to the bottom and add further ink through. Remove the stencil and masking.Using the Word Chains, add Happy (#2) Birthday (#3) Niece (#28) into the centre in Black Soot Distress Archival ink. Add a line round the edges of the topper using a black Sharpie pen. Die cut the Nested Square Doodle Frame-Its from black card and add the fifth largest to the centre of the topper. Mat onto a piece of Indian Summer companion paper, trim to a narrow border, and then mat for a second time onto a piece of Amazonia companion paper and trim in a like manner. To finish, add the topper to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.Add 40? It’s Party Time into the inside in the same ink as before using Word Chain 24 and the Word Chain Alphabet and Numbers.
