Cheerful Holly Framer Card

For the first sample that I made with the Holly Framer die I decided to go bright and cheerful and colour the frame.

Die cut the Holly Square aperture framer from Clarity stencil card.

Die cut around the edge using the 5.25” nested squares picot die. Die cut a mat from stencil card using the same die.

Colour the die cut with Ecoline watercolour pens (Depp Yellow, Forest Green, Scarlet, Sepia, Black).

Die cut the centre of the frame with the square that comes in the set.

Mark the corners of the inner square on the mat in pencil and add one of the line stamp Robins from the 2-way overlay Christmas Ornaments Tina’s Robins set in Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Colour the infill stamp in the same markers used to colour the frame and add it over the top.

Erase the pencil marks and mat up the frame.

Add to the front of a 6” x 6” black card blank.

To finish, add a couple of the Christmas and Celebrations Words stickers.
