Thanks so much for all the well wishes and thoughts for the family on Monday. It was a beautiful service for Dad.
My desk shows the order of service, a packet of Forget-Me-Not seeds which came with it and some roses from the spray of flowers from the top of the coffin. They are currently being pressed under a pile of books in my shed. The order of service was so unlike any I had seen before in that it contained photos of Dadf throughout his life. Some as watermarks behind the printed service and some as single and double page spreads. All the photos which were part of the visual tribute to him.
Why shouldn't she wear a tie if she wants to?
I am still in a routine with the daily drawings. I spent yesterday afternoon at my recorder group (the one my brother conducts) and my twin sister came along too as they are returning home today. Today I am off the the theatre with Y8 and then total normality as far as school is concerned will return.
Don't forget to visit Julia at Stamping Ground to find out more about WOYWW and link up yourself. Stay safe everyone and Happy WOYWW.

I am glad all went well. The order of service looks beautiful and how lovely to have photos for all to remember your Dad. Sending hugs from me and Tilly. We were just saying yesterday that you would probably love her puffins workshop that she has planned for next year. - one on a Saturday! x x Jo

What a beautiful tribute to your Dad you now have to keep in your memory box. So glad everything went according to plan.
Good to see you are still keeping up with the drawings, I don't know how you manage to think some of them up, I would be stuck with lots of them.

The service book sounds wonderful as a celebration of your Dad’s life. I have not seen one like it. What did you see at the theatre? I remember going to see MacBeth at the theatre when I was at school. I thought it was amazing. Happy WOYWW. Angela #4
Very different service than ones we have here in the states. How sweet to see your father's face on the order of service and the seeds.
Really lovely drawings this week. My favorites were Partner and Leader. Happy WOYWW from # 3.
What a lovely tribute to your Dad. It is wonderful how photographs can be added to the order of service nowadays such beautiful memories for all to take away with them. Your desk is indeed very special this week. Hugs BJ#1
Your Dad's service sounds like a lovely way to remember him, he looks like we was a wonderful kind man. The chandelier is this weeks fav drawing! Have a great week, Lindart #20
Happy WOYWW. The Order of Service and packet of seeds are gorgeous. What a fantastic design. I used to play the recorder (to a fairly high standard) when I was at school. I would struggle to read music now! I did start to learn to play the ukelele whilst in Lockdown, but didn't continue when my health worsened. Thinking of doing an evening class - must look into that today. Ali x #19
I'm very late calling round today but I'm not sorry because we have had a very special day making memories with little Louie...and no sewing was done at all.
I'm gald Monday went well....what a beautiful order of service.
