WOYWW 747: Jogging Along (Not Literally)

Welcome to the weekly desk sharing with Julia and the WOYWW gang via Stamping Ground.  The weeks seem to flash past at the moment.

The desk shows some stamps from the second release of Linda William's Christmas Compendium from Clarity Crafts.  I was sent three of them to play with and have ordered a couple of the additional sets released at the same time as I couldn't resist them.

These are the samples I made for the recent shows.
I am still working on my daily drawings and have downloaded the #inktober2023 prompts ready for next month.
Monday was my turn to lead the whole school assembly as yesterday was European Day of Languages.  It seemed to go well.  Busy day though as I had a tutor group to cover too.  Hope that today is a little less crazy.  Happy WOYWW everyone.

Thanks for the best wishes for my dental appointment, my husband has just had a crown and they top £600 each at least, but well worth it. Fortunately our dentist has now got the new fangled scanner so I wouldn't need to go elsewhere to avoid the impressions, just the next door room where his son will sort me out! Phew! I really can't cope with anything far back in my mouth and have had 3 crowns at a different dentist because of this. I was even loaned the impression holders to see if I could handle it at home but I couldn't. I'm a bit stressed out for tomorrow but I'm sure it will be OK, not much tooth left standing though, we'll see. BJ#1

I especially like the Star of Bethleham card you created. I also liked hand me down, something I wear a lot!

Sounds like you are really busy at school. Not sure how you do it all.

Thanks for the info on the stamps. I don't store them on blocks, I try to reattach the stamps to the backer plastic they came on originally. I appreciate your advice, though. Happy WOYWW from # 3.

Great "C"Cards, especially like the first two, they are my type, but all are lovely.
Good to see you keeping up with the daily drawings, it amazes me how you come up with the ideas.
You must have a huge hall if you do whole school assemblies. It must be a lot of work to pitch it right to the whole school. We only did upper and lower, thank goodness.

Your C cards are lovely. I can't believe we are nearly into October already . Well done on the assembly. It takes a bit of planning doesn't it. Being Deputy Head, I used to do one every week - quite a challenge to think of ideas to make interesting and fun for the children. x x Jo

Do you speak many European languages? I'd have been able to do a smattering of German, French, Spanish, but mostly Welsh, although my German ist kleine, and my Spanish now down to 'Hola!' and 'La cuenta, por favor'!
