Stained Glass art Nouveau

This time I focussed on one of the new Art Nouveau stencils and created a stained glass look.

Attach the Landscape tulips stencil from the new Art Nouveau stencil collection from Clarity crafts to a piece of stencil card and go round all the lines with a mechanical pencil.

Colour all the line art with a black Posca pen. When dry erase the pencil marks.

Colour the rest of the image in brightly coloured ProMarkers (Poppy, Gold, Cyan, Holly, Emerald).

Die cut a mat using the largest nested rectangles picot die. Trim the image close at the top and sides and leave excess card at the bottom so the topper measures 5.5” x 4.5”.

Die cut the nested Rectangle Doodle frame-Its Frames from stencil card and add the third largest to the picot mat.

Add ‘Just to Say’ from the Art Nouveau Sentiments set below the image in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Mask off around the image, add Versamark ink over the whole thing and heat emboss in clear powder heating from below.

Add the topper to the mat and frame.

Add to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.

To finish, add one of the Patterned Panels and Happy Birthday from the same sentiment set as before in the same manner as the first sentiment.
