Silent Night Baubles

I combined stencils and stamps and some judicious masking once again to create this scene using stamps from one of the Linda Williams' Christmas Compendium sets.

Attach the Christmas Stars shape stencil to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank and blend Chrome Yellow Archival ink through a section.

Using the solid 5” x 5” bauble stencil add Shadow Grey archival ink in from the edges.

Mask off the first bauble and add a second in the same manner.

Add the hangers in the same manner.

Using the stencils as masks for the outside, add the three trees from the Glistening Winter stamp set in Linda Williams Christmas Compendium into the left-hand bauble in Black Soot Archival ink.

Move the stencil outer and add the large tree and bench into the right-hand bauble.

Using a Payne’s Grey water colour pencil, add drop shadows to the baubles and ground below the bench. Blend out with a watercolour brush pen.

Add black lines from the top of the card to ‘hang’ the baubles using a black Posca pen.

To finish, add one of the Clarity Christmas & Celebrations Words stickers.
