Butterfly Dancing

 I like to use my Clarity craft club items each month to build up my stash of cards.  Here I created a general card from the June 2023 stamp offering.

Stamp the June 2023 Clarity New Design Club butterfly stamp (#200) onto the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Make a mask for it by stamping again onto copy paper, laying a mask blank over the top and fussy cutting.

Mask up the butterfly.

Add the Wild Privet stencil over the top and blend Sap Green Archival ink through a section around the butterfly. Remove the stencil.

Add the hearts stencil from the Basic Backgrounds collection and blend Pink Peony Archival ink through a section. Remove the stencil.

Remove the mask and colour the butterfly using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils blended on a mix mat and picked up with a water colour brush pen.

To finish, add the sentiment from the same stamp set in the same ink as before.
