Butterfly Thank You Card

I created a soft background using the May 2023 Clarity Club stencil with butterflies as a focal point for this thank you card.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested rectangle die and a mat from black card using the corresponding picot die.

Add two of the smaller images from Cherry Green’s Butterflies set 1 in Black Soot Distress Archival ink and mask them up.

Lay the Clarity New Design Club stencil from May 2020 (#108) across the topper and blend Pale Ochre, Sap Green and Pink Peony Archival inks through the apertures. Remove the masks.

Add Thank You to the topper in the same black ink using the Entwined Sentiments.

Colour the butterflies using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils blended with a water brush (#125, #129, #119).

To finish, trim a white card blank to 7” x 6”, mat up the topper and add it to the card.
