WOYWW 714: Next Op Booked

Welcome to the weekly desk share as part of WOYWW - please visit Julia's Stamping Ground for further explanation.

I was working on a tag yesterday with a love/heart theme so snatched a quick photo.

My second cataract operation is booked for the Monday of half term (20th February) so as to avoid time off work.  The optician was really happy with the results of the first one when I went on Saturday so here's hoping the second one is equally successful.  I should be back to driving in time to take my car in for its MOT lol.

The latest drawings are still happening.  We should have had a parents' evening tonight and tomorrow but they have been cancelled so not sure what the meeting will be if there is one after school this evening.  Looking forward to visiting desks later.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

I'm sure the next cataract op will go as well as the first. Hope you get a free evening after school if parents evening has been cancelled! Happy WOYWW Helen #3

Morning Sarah!! Excellent news about the next op and your current recovery. Are the cancellations because of the strikes? Great little drawings as always. Enjoy your day. Happy WOYWW, love n hugs Cindyxx #4

That's unusual to cancel parents' evening, hope it's nothing serious. Good luck with the next eye op. too. Loving the new journal collection and hope your halfterm is good, not long now. Sending WOYWW hugs Angela x7x

I’m so pleased that the op turned out so well and hope the second is just as good! You’re so good at keeping up with the drawings, the clasped hands/heart is very clever.

Oh another half term the week after ours, which is next week and I was really pleased for my birthday to be in ours this year. Although went and booked my first reading programme and it's in a school in Birmingham who have their half term the week after (like yours) and so I start on Valentines!!! I'll be doing 1/2 hour Tuesday and Thursday mornings for 6 weeks finishing on 30th March. So exciting. Super drawings love the hands/heart for peace, your sloth is so cute and love that your possessions are pencils! Look forward to seeing the heart tag, I'm all lots of hearts and stuff this month too. Hi Sarah, I'm so glad to learn your cataract op has been successful. I've been developing cataracts for some time and I am, to be very frank, dreading the operations so it's helpful to hear yours has gone well so far. Wishing you well and a speedy recovery for the next op. Loving your daily drawings. Have a lovely day. Hugs, Elizabeth x #15

Hi Sarah! I love the hand holding Peace drawing! And, of course, the cake. I love cake, especially double chocolate. There I go, I will probably gain weight thinking about it! Good luck with your appointment, and I hope everything goes as well as it did last time! Lindart #16
