I decided that it was time to use a stamp set from Clarity Crafts that I have had for a while and never used so went ahead and made this card using two of the four stamps.
Stamp the large diver onto the front of a 7" x 7" white card blank in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.
Make a mask for the image and mask it up.
Ink up the large circle backdrop stamp with Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxides, give a light mist of water and add the backdrop image over the diver.
Add some splashes in Garden Patina Archival ink.
Add some further splashes in Paradise Teal Archival ink.
Continue with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Archival ink and again in Salvaged Patina Distress Archival ink.
Repeat with Speckled Egg Distress Archival ink then finish the background with Sky Blue Archival ink.
Remove the mask and colour the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos (#132, #102, #189, #172).
Stamp the diver onto an offcut of Amazonia designer paper in the same ink as before.
Cut out the swimming costume and cap and add them to the card.
To finish, add Happy Birthday in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the Entwined Sentiment stamps.
