WOYWW 670: Edging Closer

Welcome to the weekly desk share with WOYWW thanks to Julia at Stamping Ground.  Please pop over, she will explain what it is all about.

My desk today shows the samples I made for the Clarity one day special which comes out this evening.  If you are interested in the step by steps then watch out over the next week on my blog.

I am muddling through to the Easter holidays (we don't break up until Friday) as I woke up with a touch of sciatica yesterday which is rather painful.  Still, I only have today and Friday to get through as I only work part time.  By then I should have finished all my marking and be able to have a proper relaxing break.

I am still having fun going through my stash to create quick daily journal pages and have started adding gesso to pages in my May/June journal so it is ready for use.
Staff meeting this evening, so it may be tomorrow morning before I finsih visiting.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Great samples and your journal pages are fabulous - I am loving the vintage feel and you certainly have a wonderful source of images and ephemera to dip into. I hope the sciatica clears up, it can be ghastly.
Have a great week,

Loving the journal pages and hope the Sciatica goes quickly as it can be very painful. Lincoln schools broke up last week but I know not all counties are having the same weeks which would have been good for the holiday companies if they hadn't had to cancel so many flights. Wishing you a lovely creative woyww, Angela x14x

Sciatica can be so painful, I do hope it goes soon. Great collages, I recognise that last sheet of paper, I am sure I had some of that paper. Do like the way you frame your focal images . Happy WOYWW. Angela #5

Sounds like we are both suffering with our backs. Not sure what I did last week but mine hurts if I sit down for too long - so standing up or laying flat then!!! Hope you feel better soon and can enjoy your well deserved break. Your artwork is really lovely - I am always amazed how much you manage to produce - Wonder Woman!! xx Jo
