WOYWW 655: Merry Christmas

Welcome to the Christmas edition of my WOYWW contribution c/o Julia at Stamping Ground.  Merry Christmas to everyone - we have donated to the Air Ambulance Appeal this year instead of sending out cards.

My desk shows my samples that I made for the Clarity shows today before I posted them off but if I am cheating a little at least it makes a change from my sketchbook lol.

Talking of which, I am getting ever closer to my daily drawing challenge for 2021.  I am not sure if I will set myself a daily challenge dor 2022 yet as I am starting to repeat myself with the prompts now.
Eva popped over for a brief crafting session last week.
Hope you all have a healthy Merry Christmas - we are keeping to the same plans as last year.  Stay safe everyone and Happy WOYWW.

I was tempted to do a charity donation this year too, but in the end made cards... much as I moaned about it I did enjoy it... Great to see Eva in the shed for a crafty session. Hope you have a very Happy (covid-free, goes without saying) Christmas, and much love for 2022. Helen #2

I love the drawings and hope you carry one with them - what about making up your own list of words and working from that through the year? Nice to see Eva having a crafty session with you.
Hope you have a very happy and peaceful Christmas, stay safe and well,

The last photo made me smile: Eva has pink/purple hair just like mine! I got it done 10 days ago and it's still there, I love it!!! I do like your drawings, I still have to finish one for the ongoing drawing collaboration with my son (he came up with the theme: "draw white on black paper" for this month and I find it very difficult to 'think negative' but I'll manage!) I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a healty and happy 2022! Love from Holland, Marit #14

Happy Christmas to you and your family, Sarah. I like seeing your drawings. They seem more detailed now than they used to be. You could always use the prompts for a weekly drawing? Good to see you crafting with Eva.
Take care and happy WOYWW

I absolutely understand you giving to charity but for many of the people I send cards to they would be really upset if I didn't and many are old friends that i have worked with over the years who now live in all over the place and I rarely see if at all. I think they might be worried too as things are at the moment and if I can make them smile a little with my art work then I feel it's well worth the effort. So that's my excuse any way. Have a very happy Christmas. Hugs Angela x11x

Lovely that Eva could make it for a session before Christmas! Speaking from experience, these challenges start feeling a bit of a chore after a while, so I'm amazed that you're still keeping up with yours, never missing a day! You'll know if you still want to continue. I'm still debating whether I should do another 100-day challenge next year. If I am, it will be something very quick and simple! Wishing you, your family and Eva a very merry Christmas! Enjoy the holidays before going back to school in January - I'm dreading it already LOL! xx zsuzsa #21

Ah lovely Eva! How nice to have her company. Air aMbulance is a charity that I have a connect with, so am very happy that you chose that this year. Well done Sarah, am impressed by your achieving your drawing a day goal, I knew you would, it’s totally within your character to do what you say you’re going to! We have our kid coming home today, which will make a very different a Christmas to last year, although the plans simply are the same, just two extra chairs in use! Stay safe and well, have a very happy Christmas!

Well done on the zipper! Very realistic! I wish you a wonderful Christmas, full of love, joy and family, which is, after all, what we need most! And Merry Christmas to Eva too! Lindart #24

Hi Sarah, we may donate to charity next year instead of posting out cards. They have closed our nearest post office so we had to take a taxi into town to the PO there - Alan is still not driving yet. If we take the cost of the taxi both ways and the total spent on postage, I'm sure a charity would be very happy with a donation instead. Lovely to see a pic of Eva again. Love your gigantic drawing. Have a great week and Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hugs, Elizabeth. x #22

I am so impressed you stuck to these drawings for so long Sarah, and I am tickled with how your brain interprets the prompts too. That is so nice that Eva is able to visit you in person again and I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas! ~Stacy #23

Hello Sarah. Thank you for visiting. Lovely that Eva can visit and craft.
I just love making cards so don't think I could not send. However I donated to Air Ambulance and Action for Children. Hope you get a well deserved rest.
Apologies for late reply, I felt unwell yesterday ended, ended up at GP this morning and have water infection. :-( On antibiotics. Take care and hope you have a lovely Christmas. Anne x 17
