WOYWW 641: It Didn't Take Long

Welcome to the weekly contribution to What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday care of Julia at Stamping Ground.  Please pop over there for more chances to nose explore.

My desk is pretty much unchanged from a typical early morning as that is when I do my daily drawing.  It didn't take long to get back into the swing of things at school.  I have completed my first timetabled week back now and so far have managed to fit all the marking in at school without bringing books home.  I expect that will change next week though.  The shed roof passed the test that was torrential rain at the end of last week and yesterday with no leaks so now I just have to get round to painting it.  I have had the paint for a while and just hope I have enough tins of the blue that I picked up ages ago.

I am keeping up with the daily drawings despite being back at work three days a week.  Here is the latest round up as I haven't shared them for a while.  The first half of September will be going up on the blog tomorrow if you are interested and have missed any.  I will be round on Thursday to visit as I now have meetings after school on a Wednesday and there is also a footie match at the Bet365 this evening - lucky tomorrow is a day off so I can have a lie in.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Glad that you are settling back in to school life - those weeks of summer holiday sure flew by! Glad the shed roof kept the rain out; it was certainly very wet here yesterday, morning at least! Happy WOYWW Helen #7

Glad you’ve got off to a good start in the term, without having to bring marking home. You must be pleased your new shed roof passed its test, too. Love to see your daily drawings; I particularly liked your En Pointe ballet shoes. Thanks for your visit; please don’t apologise for not taking part in my little challenge. It’s just a bit of fun.
Hope Stoke win!
Take care and happy WOYWW

Enjoy your lie ins and do them each week you can.
Doesn't take long to be back in the groove at school but you are doing so well with the marking, hope you can keep it up Sarah. Nice to not be cluttered with books at home.
Love your drawings.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

I’m pleased that you’ve had a good return back to school, let’s hope that continues! Hurray for the roof standing the test as well, a blue roof sounds lovely, just like in Santorini!!

It doesn't take long to get back in the swing of things does it, even though you feel like you've forgotten everything and within half an hour it's like you never left lol. My favourite drawing this time is the ballet shoes. Happy WOYWW! Elle #11 this week

Your drawings get better and better, did you notice that yourself? That's what daily drawing does isn't it: practicing brings progress or how is that saying? I notice it with my own drawings and I don't even draw daily... Happy for you that the roof held up and didn't show leaking. Have fun painting the shed and enjoy your days. Love from Holland, Marit #16

I love that you keep up with your drawings for you Sarah, in spite of all that goes on with life that fills it with the busy busy things, you know what I mean? :) Yay for no leaks too! ~Stacy #21

Your drawings made me smile this morning. Love the snake and the ballerina shoes. Those shoes would make a lovely card!

Glad you are getting back into work routine again, Sarah, after the summer holidays. I love the latest crop of drawings and particularly like the ballet shoes. So well observed!

Thank you for your visit and your good wishes. I've finished my radiotherapy now, and am beginning to suffer the after-effects, notably fatigue, hence the lateness of my comment for which I apologise - being out for 5 afternoons on the trot also made me quite behind with things so I've had catching up to do too. I'm glad you liked the card I made. They were very thrilled with it, I'm pleased to say.

Happy belated WOYWW,
