Christmas Gnome!

I have had such fun playing with the Clarity Gnome stamps.

Stamp the Christmas Güd Gnome onto a piece of Clarity stencil card in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and mask her up.

Attach the deckle framer stencil to the card using masking tape to create a hinge at the top.

Blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink through the deckle aperture with a Clarity stencil brush.

Add all the snowflakes from the same stamp set into the background in lots of shades of blue using Distress Oxides.

Add shading below the gnome and remove the mask and stencil.

Colour the gnome using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#223, #108, #217, #199, #132, #102, #189, #131, #152).

Add a sentiment using Barbara’s Christmas sentiment stamps in the same ink as the gnome.

Add a blue deckle edge round the inky background with a blue fineliner.

To finish, trim 0.25” from each edge of the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.
