I am keeping up with the monthly missions over on Mission Inspiration as you can see. The theme for this month is Silhouette. The suggested colours are Royal Blue, Salmon Pink and Steel Grey and the techniques, in no particular order are Ink, Tissue Paper, Circles, Numbers and Make marks.Coat a double page of handmade paper with Amsterdam transparent gesso and allow to dry. Add a mix of Salmon Adirondack paint plus Hickory Smoke distress paint over the pages and blend. Using the 2.5”, 3” and 3.5” Clarity nested circle dies, cut three circles from Tim Holtz Collage Paper (Typography). Add them to the page and seal with matte medium, drying thoroughly. Pounce Blue Belle Versafine Clair ink through one of the apertures in Clarity’s Elegant Ladies 1 stencil to add a silhouette.Add further numbers by stamping some of the smaller numbers from Barbara’s Numbers and Months stamps over the pages in Hickory Smoke Archival ink.Add further stamping using the tape measure from the Corset stamp set in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and dry thoroughly. Add circular marks using a lid dipped in white acrylic paint. Add detail to the silhouette and large numbers using a white gel pen.To finish, add a title in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the Clarity word Chain Alphabet.
