A Splash of Colour using Distress Glaze

I used a Distress Glaze to provide a pop of colour on this largely monochrome children's card.
Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 6” nested square die and a mat from black card using the 6.25” nested square picot die.
Cut a 5” x 5” black card blank in half. Create a frame by using the 4” nested square die to cut a piece from the centre of one half.
Lay the frame over the stencil card topper and stamp the Spring Boy into the centre in Onyx Black Versafine ink, add the boat in the same manner.
Add the umbrella corner frame into each corner in the same ink.
Finish the frame by adding the small umbrellas in between as before.
Add the frame to the topper and mask up the boy.
Add the cloud mask and gently add Moon Crater artistry ink within the frame using a Clarity stencil brush. Move the mask down and add further ink in the same manner. Remove the masking.
Add clouds to the front edges of a 7” x 7” white card blank in the same manner.
Add a splash of colour to the boy’s wellies and raincoat using Fossilised Amber Distress Glaze and an embossing pen.
Mat up the topper and add it to the front of the card.
To finish, add a couple of Leonie’s word stickers.
