Bright Birthday Card for a Little Girl

I chose to colour this lovely image of a girl splashing in puddles, which is part of the Linda Williams' Seasonal Children stamp collection, in Distress glaze.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5” nested circle die. Cut a mat from black card using the 5.25” nested circle picot cie.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank, add the umbrella cluster from the Spring Girl stamp set into each corner in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Add the Spring girl onto the topper in the same ink.

Add Happy Birthday below her using the Entwined sentiments stamps in the same manner.

Add Fired Brick Distress Glaze to the little girl’s wellies and raincoat using an embossing pen. Add Tumbled Glass Distress Glaze to the water in the same way.

Add Fossilized Amber Distress Glaze to the umbrella.

Add the same colours of Distress Glaze plus Cracked Pistachio to the umbrellas in the corners of the card.

To finish, mount up the topper and add it to the centre of the card.
