Vertical Twists Overlay Die Easel Card

For my third sample with the new geometric overlay dies, I used one of the larger dies twice to create a 5" x 5" easel card.
Cut a 5” x 5” black card blank in half. Die cut the Vertical Twists Pattern Overlay aperture die from the middle of one half of the card.
Repeat using a 5” x 5” white card blank.
Glue the white (horizontal) version over the black (vertical) version with the apertures lined up.
Use the 4.25” nested square picot die to cut a frame round the apertures. Use the 4.75” nested square picot die to cut a mat from a piece of Toffee Apple designer paper. Add this to the other half of the 5”x 5” black card blank.
Add the die cut topper over the top.
Score the front of a second 5” x 5” black card blank in half to create an easel.
Add the topper to the front of the easel.
Trim a piece of the same designer paper to 2.25” x 4.75” and mat it onto a piece of black card 5” x 2.5”. This time use the front of the paper.
Add three of Barbara’s word stickers and edge them with a black micron pen.
To finish, add the panel to the base of the easel card with foam tape.
