When I completed these tag pages for my quarantine quickie journal, following the prompts over on Mission Inspiration, I had nearly caught up. I have decided to continue sharing two pages at a time however. Here are #11 and #12.
As I wanted to create an inky scene for the Counting Sheep prompt, I worked on a #8 mixed media tag. Stamp the Clarity New Design Club wolf stamp (#119) onto the tag in Smokey Grey Versafine ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
Create a mask for the wolf. Using the hills & mountains masks, add Pampas and Amazon Trail Artistry ink along the bottom with a Clarity stencil brush.
Add stamping in Olympia Green Versafine ink using two of the Wee grasses along the bottom. With the hills & mountains mask in place, add further stamping using the teeny weenie grass stamp from the Grove Trees outline stamp. Remove the masks.
Colour the wolf and add further shading to the grass area using Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen.
Lay the Clarity cloud mask along the top of the tag and add two of the sheep from the Wee farm animals set in Black Soot Archival ink. Mask off the sheep.
Brush Midnight Blue Artistry ink across the top of the tag. Move the cloud mask further down and add a third sheep in the same manner. Mask it off.
Use a stencil brush to add further Midnight Blue ink and complete the sky. Remove the masks.
To finish, hand write the prompt using a black micron pen.
For prompt #12 I went back to using a layer of a paper towel mop up sheet as a background. It was added to a #8 manilla tag, sealed, dried and trimmed.
Add one of the Cherry Green Doodleology Circle stamps from Clarity in Black Soot archival ink.
Colour sections of the circles using red, orange and yellow Derwent Inktense pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen.
To finish, hand write the prompt twice (once the correct way and once using mirror writing to reflect the words) using a black micron pen.
