WOYWW 516: Leisure is Good!

This will be speedy to match how quickly the week has gone round.  #1 son and girlfriend are moving house tomorrow and we want to help out.  I have a couple of things to get done in the shed today so that I can have a day off tomorrow.  My desk photo was actually taken this morning for a change.
I am busy cleaning the indexing off some stamps that I treated myself to from Claritystamp.  In the background you can see the left over acrylic squares from my sample making.  The One Day Special which is on Hochanda today until 6pm has all sorts of fabulous shapes in acrylic to play with.
This is one of the samples that I made which featured on the shows yesterday evening.  I will be sharing a step by step later this week if you want to see more.
In the mean time, please visit Julia over on The Stamping Ground, where you can find out more about WOYWW and also links to a lot more desks.  Only 4 more weeks until the 10th anniversary!

Love that fossil Sarah, I have some very special go to Clarity stamps that I could not do without but indexing over whelms me as any creative time I get is so precious. Good luck with your Son's move, perfect season to start a fresh. Happy WoywW Tracey #5
P.S Yes those Ecolines work fab on glass, I have around 40 already but not the pastels, hope to have a play asap x

Oh that’s really nice of you....I’m dreading my daughter and squeeze moving from their second floor flat! I’ve bought a couple of Clarity stamps recently and didn’t know the indexing would need cleaning off...top tip that they don’t tell you! The nautilus sample is lovely, what a nice straightforward image that would repeat beautifully.

I love a nautilus and have a big stencil of Andy skinner's that is probably my favourite stencil of all.
Good luck with the move - how fortunate that you are not at school when they choose to do it.
Have a good week.
Hugs, Neet 18 xx

Your sample looks fantastic, Sarah! I still admire your daily blogging practice - if I don't know the date, all I need to do is visit your blog archive and see how many posts you have made that month and I get the date LOL! Good luck with your son's move - always a stressful but exciting time! zsuzsa #24

Thanks for your visit, Sarah, and I'm glad you like all my little flowers! The bullion knot one is top row, 3rd from right. I forgot to take my pain relief at 1 p.m. and it's now gone 3 p.m. and I don't seem to need it, so hopefully my jaw is settling down already! What a relief. I'm now doing the salt water mouth washes and still eating soft food but I'm sure everything will be fine by the end of the week. Sleepy Lily and Ruby say meow back!

Your sample is fabulous - I love the nautilus image at the best of times and you've created a gorgeous watery background for it - just perfect.
I hope your son's house move goes well, my back is still recovering from helping my sister move house a couple of weeks ago!
