Leonie's Circus Stamps on an Art Journal Page

This was the first sample I made with one of Leonie Pujol's new Circus stamp sets (Claritystamp) being showcased today at 8am and 12pm on Hochanda.  They are great for card making, but also for journaling.  My first project was an art journal page.  They also fit in beautifully with her stencil designs.
1 Cut a piece of stencil card to 8.5” x 8.5”. Blend Worn Lipstick, Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose Distress Oxides over the whole sheet.
2 Lay the Arty Arrows stencil over the bottom left corner and blend Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide over the top.
3 Stamp the largest stamp three times, once in Cactus Flower archival ink and twice in Vibrant Fuchsia Archival ink.
4 Add a row of the small oval stamps along the bottom in the same colours. Draw in stems to turn them into flowers using a pink Sakura micron pen.

5 Seal the whole page with Distress Micro Glaze and add the magazine clipping of a woman jumping. Seal and dry thoroughly to create a non-porous surface.
6 Add colour and shading using Faber-Castell pens, blended out using a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
7 Stamp the Sentiment ‘On to the next great adventure’ three times in Dusty Concord Archival ink.
