A Clean and Simple Good Luck Card

I like the additional small stamps and sentiments which come with the Circus stamp sets (designed by Leonie Pujol for Claritystamp). They work really well for a clean and simple card.

Working directly on the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank, mask off the bottom 3.5cm. Measure up a further 3.5cm and stamp ‘On to the next great adventure’ in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Allow to dry. Mask off the sentiment, leave a 2cm gap and mask off above this gap.

Mount up the leaf and oval shaped stamps so that they sit within the spaces of the masked off areas. Stamp them going across the page from left to right in Plum, Vermillion, Monarch Orange, Bright Tangelo, Sunflower, Fern Green, Forget-Me-Not, Manganese Blue, Cobalt Blue and Majestic Violet Archival inks in turn. When changing ink colour, stamp onto spare card until the colour is true.

Colour each shape with a similar shade of water colour pencil and blend with a water brush.

Remove the masking.

Mask off the lines each end of the Good Luck stamp from Line Sentiments 3, ink in Onyx Black Versafine ink, remove the masking and stamp below the bottom row of coloured stamping.
