Clean and Simple Daisies

As a break from Christmas cards, here is a Clean and Simple design which is suitable for many occasions.
I'm entering this into the Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes

Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes

If you add a matching insert, the daisy panel is more subtle, whereas a piece of backing card to co-ordinate with the centres of the daisies highlights the pattern of the panel.

The base card is 14.8cm x 14.8cm made from a piece of A4 cream linen card.  On the inside of the card I measured in 2cm from the top and bottom and 2cm and 7cm from the side; marked the frame lightly in pencil; cut out the aperture with a steel ruler and craft knife, ensuring that I protected the outside edges of the aperture with the ruler when cutting.  That way, if the knife slips, only the waste is damaged.  The rectangular aperture measures 5cm x 10.8cm.  From the rest of the A4 linen card, I used the daisy punches in the three smallest sizes by Woodware to punch out 7 of the largest, 16 of the middle size and 14 of the smallest.
These were laid over the aperture and glued together to form a delicate pattern.  Coloured adhesive pearls were then added to the centre of some of the daisies.
The card can be finished either with a cream insert or a panel of co-ordinating card.
