WOYWW 869/89: Busy Busy

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

Wishing Neet a continuing recovery now she is back home.

Some of you were not too sure what I

meant by a Groovi plate last week so I have a small selection on my desk today.  They are etched plates to help transfer line art onto parchment using an embossing tool.

This is the finished card that I was working on last week.
Here's the project that I completed at Tilly Tea Dance's workshop last Friday.  It was a great day and good to see Jo as well.

As you can see I am keeping up with the #dailyatc2026.  I spent yesterday afternoon at the U3a recorder group in Lichfield.   It was the first time that I had made it this year and it was so good to play some new music together and catch up with my brother who conducts the group.
Apart from crafting and visiting Mum, I have no other plans this coming week - although next Tuesday is the get together with retired staff from the first school that I worked at.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Super daily art interpretations of the prompts and thanks for explaining the groovi plates, I was a little baffled. Adore the felting so precious. Been awake since 3.30am so going to try to sleep again now. Hugs Bj#1

Lovely cards and your daily art has been inspiring. I am envious of your laid back week, but one that sound s packed with fun. Makes mine feel quite tedious by comparison! I know nothing about Groovi plats, so off to research! Happy Woyww

Thanks for your Groovi explanation! I still think it's all very clever. You challenge pics are fab - I like the one with the clock. Lovely to see you on Friday and so impressed with that beautiful felted flowers pic. x x Jo 🌈

Ooh sounds like a good week and great dailies too. I spotted a u3a magazine in our local library recently, not come across them before until I flicked through, sounds good and a great musical catch up with family for you

Hi Sarah, well done with the prompts. Sounds like you've had a good week. This is our second week back from the ski trip and now I'm full of cold and feeling crap but will do my best to get round and visit everyone it might just take a while longer than usual. Happy woyww, Angela x11x
