Using an Offcut on a Card

It is surprising how effective a small offcut of a larger background can be when used as a panel on a small card.  Here I used another one from the Clarity Summer Retreats in 2025.

I started with a background offcut measuring just over 1.5" x 3.5".

It reminded me of water, so I added the sailing ship from the Wee Planes & Boats stamp set in Jet Black Archival ink.

This was followed by the small bird from Barbara's Build a Landscape Favourites in the same ink.

I then used a white Pergamano gel pen to add interest to the water.

The topper was edged with a black Sharpie pen and added to the front of a 4" x 4" white card blank.

To finish, I added one of the I am Essential Birthday Sentiments in Jet Black Archival ink.
