I loved the look of the projects that came with the January 2026 Clarity New Design Club stencil but did not have the time for a big gel press play. Instead I went with Distress Oxides and created a small card (5" x 5").
Attach the stencil (#140) to a small piece of Clarity stencil card with low tack tape.
Blend Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide through the aperture with a spot on sponge and remove the stencil.
Repeat at the other side.
Clean the stencil and add a third image in Bundled Sage Distress Oxide.
Cover the last image with the stencil inner, holding it in place with low tack tape.
Spritz Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Stains over the top, pat dry and remove the stencil.
Add shading using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#267 Winter and #168 Spring).
Add one of the Art Deco Sentiments in Jet Black Archival ink.
Die cut a mat from black card using the 4" nested square lattice doodle frame-its frames & panels die and mat up the topper.
To finish, add the topper to the front of a 5" x 5" white card blank.
