November PTC: November Rain/Beige

The prompt for the November PTC swap over on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes and ATCs is November Rain, and the colour is beige. This is what I sent to my swap partner.

I added the ATC stamp onto the back of a piece of ATC stencil card in Frayed Burlap Distress Archival ink. The appropriate information was also added in the same ink / beige pen.

I then die cut a piece of plain parchment using the 2.5” x 3.5” nested rectangle die.

I added the parchment to the corner of the Linda’s Children Spring Boy Groovi plate and added the border to two sides using the #1.5 Pergamano embossing tool.

I then added the sentiment from the same plate using the #1 Pergamano embossing tool.

I finished the embossing by adding raindrops with the same tool, using the soft side of a black mat to ensure the raindrops were a crisp white.

The umbrellas were coloured on the back of the parchment using the #21 Perga Colour pen.

I die cut a piece of light beige card using the same nested rectangle die as before.

This was attached to the parchment using dark beige small brads with the help of the single bold needle tool, then to finish, the topper was attached to the ATC blank and put into a protective bag.

For the card, add the girl from the Bijou Spring Children to a small piece of Clarity stencil card in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add one of the small Woodblock stickers.

Colour with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils, blended out with a water colour brush pen (#110, #132, #189, #283, #177, #167, #173).

To finish, edge with a black Sharpie pen and add to the front of a 4” x 4” white card blank.
