I decided to go mini with my second sample using the smaller set of Sam's Trees stamps and combine them with a BOW-WOB gel press background using set 1 of Sam Crowe's Christmas papers. This is a card that would be easy to batch make using different coloured backgrounds.
Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3" nested square film strip doodle frame-its frames & panels die and a mat from companion paper using the 3.5" die.
Mask round the edges of the topper using low tack tape.
Add Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide to the square petite gel plate with a 3" brayer, lightly press one of the Sam Crowe Christmas BOW-WOB papers onto it, remove and stamp onto the topper - remove the tape.
Add one of Sam's Trees to the topper in Jet Black Archival ink.
Mat it up.
Add shading to the tree and a drop shadow using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#134, #233).
To finish, add to the front of a 4" x 4" white card blank.
