Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.
Some projects to keep me busy between now and the end of the year on my desk today. Not that I am finding it difficult to fill the time now I am retired. I was elected secretary of the South Staffs. Society of Recorder Players on Saturday so that will also help fill my days.Inspired by Barbara Gray's Triangle People.Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Hi Sarah,
Yes I'm back again after a long hiatus. Glad yo hear you're on the improve, long may it continues. Love some of your work below especially the Scotland card and the Painter ... must admit was puzzled over 🤔Nessie till read the description. 😂 a bit slow. I've actually been up to that part of Scotland almost a decade ago.
Happy WOYWW,
Shaz in Oz.x 🙏🏻 🤗
Glad you are feeling better and have lots to keep you busy in retirement! the calendar builder kits look fun, hope you share them as you use them! Enjoying the daily art, too. Happy WOYWW Helen xx
Glad you are feeling much better. I have been ill with a chest infection myself and am waiting for a sputum test to reveal what it is and isn't. Results should be in today.
Well, congrats on your new appointment. I never found I needed anything to fill in my time but I did become chair of our local stamping group later. It was just nice to slow down from teaching full time and I enjoyed taking classes and doing the occasional class for our club.
I think you will find these things come to you rather than you search for them. Before you know it your time will be filled.
Good luck Sarah.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx
So glad you’re better now and getting back your art and crafting. Congrats on taking on the Sec role of the recorder group, a job that needs good organisational skills which you certainly have!
Hugs LLJ 3 xx
Hi Sarah, pleased you're feeling better. Sorry to hear about the lost cards too, very strange but I guess it happens sometimes with any delivery company. I had a strange one last week from royal mail but the package did arrive sometime after it should have done but they expect you to wait at least ten days and then they might start looking. Have a good woyww. Hugs Angela x8x
So glad you are feeling better and that you have caught up with your daily art. Still a pickle of Evri and such a shame to loose all your artwork. Congrats for being elected secretary, you certainly are finding things to keep you occupied in your retirement, the calendars and Journal look super too. Hugs BJ#9
Happy WOYWW Sarah, quick hello as I am off to 5e hospital. Angela #10
Glad to read that you are feeling better! Love the sketches - my favourite of course is the spider!!
Glad you're feeling better and shaking off your bug. I'm sure you will have no problem filling your time nowadays and the fact that you're already the elected secretary of your recorder group shows a great start :) Love your drawings this week and especially the Tea Fusing, which looks very much like the Boden pot I use :) xx
Good to know you are getting over your cold, looks like you soon got back in your stride with the daily art!! I'm guessing some of your samples got lost - what an almighty pain!! I'm sure you will be a great secretary for your club - Though I suspect you already have plenty to keep you busy!! Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #11
Glad you're feeling better, Sarah. Did I not warn you that retirement meant you'd be busier than ever? Hmm ;-)
After the PO lost a big package for me back in March - then refused to pay the claim - I hold my breath ever time I check the delivery schedule. Why can't people just do their job?
Love your drawings. I never thought of triangle people. Hmm... have you seen the ones you can draw with hearts? I have a book I just had to have and haven't used LOL
Creative Blessings & Hugs! ~ Kelly #14
Glad you're feeling better, you do seem to suffer with more than your fair share of colds that lay you low. Liking the last few card samples that you've posted., the houses in particular caught my eye in that single colour linear form, really striking. I think the Secretary post is right up your street, it takes someone efficient and organised, although I will advocate patience with other committee members who aren't so!
