A Rainbow of Painters

You can tell I was having fun playing with these new Painter stamps and masks from Clarity Crafts - I forgot to take photos of some of the steps as I was so caught up in the process.

Draw a light pencil line across a 7” x 7” white card blank with a ruler 1.5” from the bottom.

Stamp one of the Barbara’s Painter stamps onto the line in Jet Black Archival ink and mask it up.

Add a second copy of the same image, slightly overlapping in the same manner. Move the mask.

Keep going until 6 painters are stamped across the card. Remove the mask. Erase the pencil line.

Add the painter holding the roller on the end 2.25” from the bottom of the card in the same ink and mask up. Then add the ladder in the same manner and remove the masking.

Stamp the painters onto various offcuts of Companion Papers in rainbow colours and fussy cut the overalls.

Add them to the card.

Colour the ladder and shoes, and the caps to match the overalls using Distress Markers.

Add one of the Woodblock stickers.

To finish, add one of the splodge stamps in Picked Raspberry Distress Archival ink.
