I had another play with a second print taken from the July Clarity Club stencil and used a die that I have been after for ages and found second hand on eBay.

WOYWW 847/67: Fabulous Retreat
Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.
My desk shows some of the stamps I was playing with before I headed off to the Clarity retreat last week. Barbara will be on HobbyMaker today at 1pm and 4pm showcasing them and you will see my samples over the next few days on my blog. I am busy working on more secret stuff so had to stage the desk. This is the sample that was on yesterday's blog. This was my desk last Thursday at the start of the second day of the retreat - we were learning all about Acrylic paint and I learnt so much.Tuesday, 26 August 2025

Going Round In Circles?
The current theme over on Try It On Tuesday is Going Round in Circles. I decided this tag with its circle background would fit the bill really well.
Cover a #8 manilla tag with a piece of shaving foam marble card and trim the excess.
Add stamping using the solid circle stamp from Sam’s Shapes 2 in shades of blue (Cobalt, Sky Blue) and pink (Picked Raspberry, Pink Peony) archival inks.Over stamp the circles using various stamps from the Don’t be Such a Square stamp set in Onyx Back Versafine ink, heat emboss with clear embossing powder.Fill the remaining circles in the same manner, but this time use Versamark ink and heat emboss using white embossing powder. To finish, add a title using the Clarity Tall Letterbox Infill Alphabet and Numbers stamps in Onyx Black Versafine ink.Sunday, 24 August 2025
Dreaming at the End of a Rainbow
The current mid month challenge over on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes & ATCs is to create a mini work of art about what is at the end of a rainbow using different media if possible. I used Archival ink, water based inks and watercolour pencils to create this piece.

WOYWW 846/66: Be Prepared
Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.
I admit to having prepared this blog further in advance than usual (Monday instead of Tuesday afternoon). I will be setting off early for the Clarity retreats tomorrow and will be calling into Crawley to drop off a card and presents for my sister before our birthday on Friday before arrival in Maidstone. I will also be meeting up with friends for an evening meal so wasn't sure if I would have time to write anything once there. My desk shows a die that I have been after for ages and which I finally managed to track down on eBay for a reasonable price. I will get photos from the retreat for next week! EDIT The meal was cancelled due to illness, so having spent a lovely couple of hours with BIL I got checked in and took a photo for an update to the desk. My 'desk' at the hotel.I am taking my trusty camera with me!
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

#dailyart2025: August Part I
I have been enjoying my #dailyart2025 in August so far using prompts from the 365 days of drawing prompts and other art FB group. I am still working in my 5th petite watercolour journal from Clarity Crafts.
