WOYWW 838/58: Time Flies

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk this weeks shows some of the projects that were produced at the workshop with the Craft Collective that I went to on Sunday.  Great fun and I will be going to another one in the future I am sure.
Werder Bremen, the German football team I support.
Parfait and mint tea.
Fabulous show at the theatre last Wednesday!
The new solar panels (scaffolding sadly still here though)!

Our wedding anniversary coincided with the prompt.
A nice easy one!

The parents' evening went well, as did the workshop as you can see on my desk.  Had a stomach bug in between the two but was well enough by Sunday to head up North for the day.  The solar panels and battery are working well and apart from the standing charge we have been self sufficient for electricity since they went online.

This time next week I will be in Paris with the Y8 trip so it will probably be a short post.  I will get it sorted on our arrival at the hostel next Tuesday evening I think.

Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone.

LOVE that purple bubbly paper! I miss art with people. Doing a live Zoom class this Sunday so that will have to do. Happy Anniversary, although touched with sadness as well as celebration. All your sketches have been so fun. I wish I had your dedication. Off to knitting for me, so getting round early. Have a happy WOYWW.

The workshop looks great glad you were well enough to attend after the tummy bug. Super drawings, had to look up parfait as no idea what it was and still a bit unsure what your breakfast version is??? Great news about the solar panels, do you have the anti pigeon wire mesh around them perchance? Have a super time in Paris. Hugs BJ#1

I'm glad you are feeling better - a roller coaster of a week for you. The solar panels will make a huge difference to your bills and I hope scaffolding is cleared soon. I love you workshop activities, especially the bubbly rainbow 🌈 colours.x x Jo

Enjoy Paris - a wonderful city but with Y8 I am not so sure,. Still they are young enough to be controllable on a trip I guess. Sorry you had a stomach bug. Glad the solar panels are working well.

Sorry to hear you've been poorly but glad you're feeling better now. I had the same problem with scaffolding when we had roof work done, took ages after it was completed for them to come and remove it. Enjoy your trip to Paris. Because of it's meaning and the coincidence, my favourite of your art this week is your anniversary xxxxxx

Glad the upset tummy got better so you could enjoy yourself - and it does look like you enjoyed yourself. Great drawings, specially the seal. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12
