Country Scene on Alcohol Ink Background

I had such a great time at the recent workshop with Barbara Gray. For this project, I used one of the ghost prints from Experiment 5.

I chose my favourite ghost print from Experiment 5.

I then die cut it using the 5.5” x 5.5” nested square die together with a mat from black card using the corresponding picot die.

The topper was attached to a piece of copy paper and tracing paper laid over the top - great tip from Barbara.

I had a play adding stamping from both Mega Build a Landscape stamp sets in Jet Black Archival ink.

Once I was happy with the layout, I reproduced the scene directly onto the topper in the same ink.

Some shading was added using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#231, #232).

I then matted up the topper and added it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.

The card was finished with a black Rub-On transfer from the Birthday Sentiments set.
