WOYWW 822/42: Getting Started

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday), the brainchild of Julia, who has kindly entrusted it to me to continue after 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch. I can't believe that it is March already!

My desk shows the flat pack ink pad storage that arrived on Monday evening.
It really didn't take that long to put together and my Archival inks are now in one place.

Furious after events in Washington DC on Friday.

Moving my craft room inside came a step closer this week.  My nephew who is a plasterer, came yesterday to give me a quote for some work that needs doing and is coming back tomorrow to complete the jobs.  Next will come boxing in the boiler, decorating and a new floor and then I can start planning the layout and new storage that I will need.  It is a smaller room than the shed, but I will be able to go floor to ceiling with units along two walls which will make up for that.  A trip to IKEA may be in order, but it probably won't be finished until after I retire.  Don't worry, I will share everything when it is completed.

I have training late after work today so won't get round to everyone until tomorrow at the earliest.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

How exciting to be getting a new craft room! Your ink storage box looks pretty awesome. I wouldn't have room for it in my room. all your drawings are great, happy birthday!, and my favourite is the one of those beautiful legs! I am watching a squirrel trying very hard to get into the squirrel proof bird feeder right now - so funny! He had to give up. Have a great week, Lindart #15
