Rainbow Plant Pots

I love these new sets of plants and post two way overlay stamps from Clarity Crafts.  For my first sample I went with my favourite rainbow colours.

Add a pencil line 2” from the bottom of an 8” x 8” white card blank.

Add one of the tall pot plant outlines into the centre in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add two more of the two leafy pot plant outlines at both ends of the line in the same ink.

Add the cactus and aloe vera pot plant outlines to fill in the gap on the left, as before.

Finish filling in with two smaller leafy pot plant outlines. Erase the pencil line.

Infill the pots using the corresponding stamps in Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides.

Add the leaf/plant infills in various shades of Archival Green inks (L to R - Sap Green, Peat Moss, Prickly Pear, Fern Green, Sea Grass, Olive and Leaf Green).

Ground the plant pots using Payne’s Grey watercolour pencil blended out with a watercolour brush pen.

To finish, add one of Barbara’s Words stickers.
